Max-Planck institute of research on the solar system
The Max-Planck institute of research on the solar system ( Max-Planck-Institute für Sonnensystemforschung , MPS) is an research institute belonging to the Société Max-Planck. Created in 1957, it is located at Katlenburg-Lindau, in Lower Saxony. Called in the past institute max-Plank for the aeronomy (MPAE), it was renamed in 2004.
