Max-Planck-Gymnasium (Dortmund)
Max-Planck-Gymnasium (or MPG, college-college Max-Planck) of Dortmund, founded in 1858, is located in the south-west of the city.
The characteristic of this school is that it has a Franco-German bilingual die.
Structure and installation
The college is of recent construction. There exist several wings, of which some are specialized in the experimental and artistic matters. At an end of the ground sports grounds are located where the courses of sport take place. In the principal building, one finds a large hall from where staircases go up leading to the classrooms (in Germany, the pupils remain in the same room during one year whole). There is no canteen but a cafeteria which gives on the market.
Teaching
With the Max-Planck college-college, one can learn English, French or Portuguese. The establishment maintains a partnership with the college Charles Péguy Orleans.Approximately 1.000 pupils are registered with the MPG; they are framed by 65 professors.
