Maville.com is a network of Internet sites of proximity, covering 41 cities. Each Maville site diffuses each day of local information, and gathers various online services (advertisements, cinema, good addresses, diary, weather, webcams…).
The Maville.com network was launched in October 1999 by Ouest-France Multimédia, specialized subsidiary of the newspaper Ouest-France for new technologies. It then comprised 16 towns of Brittany, Pays of the Loire and Basse-Normandie. The Maville.com network increased gradually to cover 29 cities since 2005. In 2007, following a partnership with Nice-Morning, it extended to the area Provence-Alp-Coast from Azure. Then, in November 2007, the Voice of North opened under Maville.com license a site in Arras.
In April 2006, the whole of the Maville.com sites added up more than 600.000 distinct visitors, for a little more than 2.300.000 visits (certification XiTi).
