Mauzun

Mauzun is a common French, located in the department of the Puy-de-Dôme and the area of Auvergne. Mauzun belongs to the urban surface of Clermont-Ferrand.

Mauzun is especially known in the area for its castle of XIIe century, larger regional fortress made up of three enclosures, and a score of turns, whose the four principal ones still support the central enclosure. The houses of the village for the majority were built starting from stones recovered on the castle.
