In 1793, the old communes of Mauzac and Saint-Meyme-to-Rozens amalgamate under the name of Mauzac-and-Saint-Meyme-with-Rozens .
Mauzac-and-Saint-Meyme-with-Rozens and the commune of Large-Castang amalgamates in 1973 under the name of Mauzac-and-Large-Castang .
