The village is located on the CD10 and the Canal of the Marne at the Rhine at the entry of the
Tunnel of Mauvages dug over a length of almost 5000 meters. It was carried out between
1841 and
1846, then rebuilt
1911 with
1922, with an interruption during the
war.
The locality has a beautiful church dedicated to Saint-Pantaléon and a fountain of the 19th century.
