Mauroux is a common French, located in the department of the Lot and the area the Midday-Pyrenees.
Geography
History
The commune of Mauroux has on its territory the ruins of old a country house, the royal city of Pride, which had received a charter of franknesses in 1293. The seigniory of Pride included/understood also Lacapelle-Cabanac and Touzac. The lord of Pride having fact causes common with the English during the Guerre One hundred Year old, the city was shaven on intervention of the count d' Armagnac.
