Mauro Giuliani , born the July 27th 1781 with Bisceglie and dead the May 8th 1829 with Naples, is a Guitariste virtuoso and a Compositeur inspired.
He exerted with Vienna 1806 with 1819, then in Italy where he remained until his death. He met, in the Austrian capital, of many successes like Soliste, but also within the framework of the Chamber music.
Mauro Giuliani was a high level type-setter, writing as well for its instrument as for more important formations. Its three Concerto S for guitar and Orchestra, as well as the six rossinniane count among its strongest parts.
Its style is at the same time virtuoso and worked out, strongly inspired by Rossini. The melody S are strong and the quality of its writing enables him to compose of the long and intense works often demanding for the guitarist.
His/her two children, Michele and Emilia, were, them also, of excellent guitarists.
