Biography

Beginnings

Mauro Bolognini undertakes studies of architecture to Florence before moving towards the cinema. Assistant of Luigi Zampa, then of Jean Delannoy, it directs the young person Sophia Loren in its first big role: Ci troviamo in galleria (1953), which is also its first realization.
