Maurice Tézé

Maurice Tézé , born with Fraud-of-Brittany in 1918, is a Parolier, musical editor, French Music producer and business manager.

Maurice Tézé starts to work in the musical field in the Années 1940 where it is found lyric writer for singers as Jacques Hélian then salesmen of “partitions popular small sizes” at the time ( Ah was not necessary for it , 1946).
In 1954, it is at Pathé-Marconi where it takes part in particular in the launching of Michele Arnaud, Charles Aznavour, Georges Ulmer and where it also manages the careers of large high-speed motorboats such as Gilbert Bécaud, Edith Piaf and Charles Trenet.
On owes him the discovery of Gloria Lasso which he notices in a Spanish cabaret of Paris in 1954. It will produce it at Pathé and will write some titles to him ( Oui in front of God , 1961).
C' is at the end of the Années 1950 which it takes in hand the career of Sacha Distel, until there jazzman but whom wishes to launch out in the song, while becoming at the same time his artistic director, his business manager and his principal lyric writer. For the young crooner charmer and whimsical, it adapts foreign songs which will become immense French successes: Scoubidou (1958), My beautiful hat (1960), Scandal in the family (1965), Mr Cannibale (1966), These words stupid (duet with Johanna Shimkus, 1967), All the rain falls on me (1969), etc.
En 1963, it contributes to the starting of France Gall at Philips while becoming, a time, its business manager and one of its lyric writers: do not say to the buddies , Nounours (1964), Dis to your captain (1965), I found my dog (1966).
Cela does not prevent Maurice Tézé from writing texts for other singers like Henri Salvador ( Petit rabbit , Juanita banana 1966), Annie Cordy ( the Pet of my heart , 1970) or for the Concours Eurovision of the song ( Illusions of our 20 years , interpreted by Peter, Sue and convergent Marc for Switzerland in 1971).
