Maurice Richard is a film of Charles Binamé left in 2005.
Synopsis
The film recalls the life of the " Rocket" , player star of the Canadian of Montreal, since its adolescence in the middle of the Thirties until the riot of 1955, caused by the suspension of Maurice Richard after the events which proceeded with Boston at the time of a preceding match. Beyond the sporting aspect of film, Charles Binamé depicts there the social condition of the French Canadians at that time and the influence which the sportsman had on this part of the population.
