Maurice Novarina , born with Thonon-the-Baths (Haute-Savoie) on June 28th, 1907 and died in the same city on September 28th, 2002, is a Architecte French.

Childhood and formation

Former student of the 3Ecole Nationale Sup3erieure of the fine arts, Maurice Novarina is engineer of Public works and architect DPLG.

Its career

He built:

  • 32 religious buildings, of which:
  • of the administrative buildings: Town hall of Grenoble (1965-1968), Law courts of Annecy (1973-1978), Center of Television of Riyadh;
  • of the cultural buildings: The House of Arts (Thonon-the-Baths, 1963-1966), Arts center Bonlieu (Annecy, years 1980);
  • of sports equipment: Sport hall of Megève;
  • of the hotels: Villa Novarina (Strasbourg);
  • of the schools;
  • of the real great height: the Periscope and the Tower Super-Italy, with Paris, on the avenue of Italy (XIII {{E}} district);
  • of the districts: district of the Restoration (Thonon-the-Baths, 1965-1985);
  • of the road equipment: highway viaduct of Nantua (has 40), highway viaduct of Poncin (has 40);
  • of the industrial plants: dam Sault Brénaz to Porcieu-Ambagnieu.

Honors, rewards and exposures

He is elected member of the Académie of the Art schools on June 6th, 1979.

Exposures, “ Maurice Novarina, an architect in his century ”, were organized to Thonon-the-baths (September 2007 - March 2008) and Annecy (November 2007) to celebrate the centenary of its birth.

Private life

It had two wire: Patrice Novarina (architect) and Valère Novarina (writer).
