Maurice Motamed (born in 1945) موریسمعتمد is the representative of the Jewish community of Iran to the Majlis of Iran. He was elected in 2000, then re-elected in 2004 to represent 50.000 Iranian of Jewish confession of Iran thanks to the Iranian system of the reserved seats.

He succeeds Manouchehr Elyasi (1996 - 2000).

In 2000, Motamed claims that the life of the Jews in Iran is much better than that of other Iranian and it invites immigrant Jewish Iranian with the the United States to turn over to Iran. Motamed supports the Iranian Nuclear program even if he considers that the remarks of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad are sometimes moved.
