Maurice Barrymore
Maurice Barrymore of his true name Herbert Blythe, is an American actor born the September 21st 1849 with Amritsar (India) and dies on March 25th 1905 with Amityville (New York).
Biography
Beautiful and elegant, Maurice Barrymore is a large man (1,80 meter) whom the women like enormously. It continues studies of right to Cambridge to marry a lawyer career, but it is immediately interested by the theater and enters the trade of actor while engaging in a small troop which traverses the provinces britanniques.
In 1875, it leaves to discovered the the United States where it joined the company of Augustin Daly with New York to play in a melodrama written and put in scene by Daly, then enters the troop of Helena Modjeska, one of the largest actresses of its time.
Barrymore touched by the Syphilis, becomes violent, and the March 27th 1901, at the time of a representation of a part of light comedy to the theater of Harlem it makes a serious crisis of insanity. His/her John son is obliged to intern him in a house for lunatics with Amityville, village located in the county of Suffolk, New York, where he dies the March 25th 1905. He is buried in the cemetery from Vernon to Philadelphia.
