Mauger de Hauteville

Mauger of Hauteville , born in Normandy in the years 1020, is one of the many sons of Tancrède de Hauteville, small noble Norman of the Cotentin. Towards 1056, it decides to leave the Norman duchy to go in Italy of the South, perhaps accompanied by his/her brother Roger Bosso. The same year or a little later in 1057, it is named count of the Capitanate by his/her older brother Onfroi, count d' Apulie.

He dies little of time after (1057) and its county passes to his/her Guillaume brother, who ends up yielding it to their older brother Godefroi.
