Muri EIB Bern is a common Suisse of the Canton of Bern, located in the District of Bern.

Geography

Located at the edge of the Aar, the commune is composed of two localities: Matured and Gümligen. The communal territory culminates with 727 meters of altitude on Dentenberg, the point low on Aar, with 508 meters of altitude.

History

Archaeological research makes it possible to affirm that Muri was already populated at the time of the Romains. The first written mention goes up with 1180.
