Matthieu Michel is a Swiss trumpet player of Jazz.

Biography

Born with Freiburg the April 29th 1963, Matthieu Michel passed his childhood in the village of Courtepin. After having taken its first courses within the brass band of the village, which his/her Yves father directed, turning to the jazz, he studies the Trompette with Americo Bellotto during three years with Vienna and Berlin. His/her two brothers are also professional musicians: Jean-François Michel is professor of trumpet to the consrvatoires of Freiburg and Genèce, famous soloist and type-setter, when in Guy Michel he teaches the tuba.
