Matthew Barnaby (born the May 4th 1973 with Ottawa in Ontario) is a former professional player of Hockey.
Career of player
Barnaby made its training course junior in LHJMQ with beginning of the year 90. It started with the Harfangs de Beauport, to finish with the Tigres of Victoriaville the same year when it made its beginning in LNH, that is to say in 1992-1993.
At the time of the seasons 1993-94 and 1994-95, it made the shuttle between the Sabers of Buffalo and the Americans of Rochester, the club-school of Buffalo in LAH. The following season, it gained a full-time station with “the large” club. With its statute of brawler and player liking the roughness, it among was punished LNH the majority of the seasons to which it took share, obtaining even the “title” of player more punished two seasons lasting its career fourteen years in the LNH. Everywhere where it passed, it was one of the favorite players of crowd. He announced his retirement during the summer 2007, that is to say the July 17th.
