The Matthaeus Aegyptius was an edict of the Sénat regulating the Bacchanales. In 186 before J. - C., it had been sent in all the Italy, engraved on bronze tables. One of it was found in 1640 with Tirioli in Calabria, by the archeologist J. - B. Cigala. It was carried with Vienna. It is of this table in question in the book published in 1729 with Naples.
