Matt Busby
Sir Alexander Matthew Busby known as Matt Busby , born the May 26th 1909 with Bellshill and deceased the January 20th 1994, was a Football or and Entraîneur of Scottish football . It involved during twenty years the club of Manchester United.

Born in Bellshill in Scotland, raised in the catholic tradition , his/her father and his uncle were killed at the time of the First World War.It makes its beginnings of footballer with Manchester City in 1928, with which it gains the cut of England in 1934. In 1936, it signs with Liverpool FC for 8.000£. It disputed its first match under its new colors the March 14th against Huddersfield Town FC (which they lose 1-0) and quickly became titular indisputable in the Années 1930. It puts an end to its career of footballer when the Second world war starts in 1940, in spite of some appearances in various clubs but only at the time of permissions, since it is engaged in the regiment of Liverpool.

Once the finished war, it receives a proposal of Manchester United whereas Liverpool wished to keep it in its staff. Busby thus joined DRIVEN and occupies the station to manage as of 1945. As of its first season, it makes it possible the club to finish vice-champion behind his old club of Liverpool. After several seasons succeeded (vice-champion in 1947, 1948, 1949 and 1951), Manchester United succeeds finally by gaining the championship of England in 1952. During this period the team takes the nickname of Busby Babes because of the young age of the players who compose manpower like Bobby Charlton or Duncan Edwards. The club gains again the championship in 1956 and 1957.
But the February 6th 1958 occurs the air crash landing of Munich where eight players die, others were seriously wounded, Busby was also wounded and twice one him lute the Onction of the patients.
During the summer 1958, it takes in hand the Scotland for the world cup 1958 in Sweden, and continues this adventure a few months after by giving the first selection to Denis Law before resigning in December of the same year.
In parallel, it continues its adventure with Manchester United, during the Années 1960 it rebuilds the team while counting on Bobby Charlton, Denis Law and George Best. In 1968, DRIVEN becomes the first club English to gain the cut of Europe of the clubs champions. In 1969, it is withdrawn from its post of managor but returns there in 1970 for one season before becoming the chief technical officer until 1982 then president.
It received the Ordre of the British Empire in 1958 after its European victory. He dies in January 1994 at the 84 years age of a cancer.
