Whereas the war against the machines intensifies, Néo will discover how to meet the direct creator of the matrix. During this time its enemy in this one, the program of eradication called Smith Agent, lost his initial function and becomes a free program to be propagated in the matrix. Its only goal: To control the matrix then the real-world, but there remains a single obstacle in front of him: Néo.
Some keys of decoding of the history
The history is enough excavated and contains strange concepts with the not very familiar spectators with the literature Cyberpunk.
The machines (computers, robots) dominate the world. The human ones are thus used as energy source for the machines, and are maintained motionless in sarcophagi, but to make it possible their body to live, their spirit is stimulated: they are connected to a vast data-processing network, the Matrix, which simulates a “normal life”.
The machines and computers are them-even connected to each other within a distinct network; for reasons of “maintenance”, there exist points of connection between the two networks, which make it possible the machines to parameterize the Matrix, to modify the programming of it, to introduce new programs there.
The programs (Software S) of the network of the machines are themselves of the conscious entities. Because of the rules of the company of the machines, certain software, considered as useless, is condemned to be destroyed. To avoid this end, some “flee” and take refuge in the Matrix (they pass from the network of the machines to the network of human) in a clandestine way. It is the case of the little girl of the Indian family (the end of film teaches us that it is a graphic software since it “draws” a dawn for Néo); the point of passage is symbolized by a subway, controlled by a program named the Man of the Train.
One of the maintenance actions of the Matrix consists with the réinitialiser and to reload the programs completely: it is the reload , central theme of film.
