Maths out of JEAN
MATh.en.JEANS is an association which makes make research in Mathématiques with pupils, primarily of college and college.

The purpose of the association whose acronym means in fact “Method of Training of the mathematical Theories by Twinning Establishments for a New Approach of the Knowledge” is to make discover research in mathematics with young pupils, under the impulse of a researcher and of their professor. All the chain is based on voluntariate (pupils, professors, researchers), and is not noted (except for certain university pupils). The system of twinning makes it possible to the pupils to explain and confront their ideas with those of a group of pupils having worked on the same subject, in another establishment of the same city.
Through all France, more than 100 establishments animate each year a workshop MATh.en.JEANS, the culminating point being the presentation by the pupils of the result of their work in national congress.
