Mathilde of Savoy
Mathilde, countess of Savoy and Maurienne (1125 - 1157), so known like Mahaut, was the first queen of Portugal since 1146 until its death.
Mathilde was the first girl of the count Amédée III of Savoy (1092 - 1075) and of his wife Mathilde d' Albon (n.v 1110 - m.ap. 1145).
She married, in 1146, Alphonse Henriques, first king de Portugal becoming thus the first queen of the young nation.

Of her marriage, the Mafalda queen had the following children:
- Urraque de León (1151 - 1188) wife Ferdinand II of León.
- Mathilde (1152? -?) been engaged to Alphonse II of Aragon died young person.
- Sanche Ier, king de Portugal.
- Jean, (? - 1160) died in low age.
- Mathilde of Portugal (1156 - 1218), wife Philippe of Alsace, count de Flandre and then with Eudes III, duke of Burgundy. Countess regent of Flanders.
- Sanche (1157 -?) Died young person.
