Mathilde de Ringelheim
Holy Mathilde de Reingelheim (890 - 968), girl of the Saxon count Théodoric, was the wife of the duke of Saxony then king d' Allemagne Henri the Bird-catcher and the mother of Otton I, founder of the Saint Germanic Roman Empire.
She was not always in good terms with her elder once he had become king, encouraging even the revolt of other family members saxonne. Finally isolated of the capacity by Otton, it devoted the remainder of its life to charitable works which were worth its canonization to him.
