Mathias Lauda

Mathias Lauda (born the January 30th 1981 with Salzburg, Austria) is a automobile Pilote like his/her father triple world champion Niki Lauda. Born from Niki and Marlene, it has also a brother Lukas Lauda, who is currently his manager. It ran in the championship GP2 Series for the Coloni team, at the sides of the old driver of Formule 1 Gianmaria Bruni.

Contrary to many pilots who begin their careers the Karting, Lauda begins in Formule Nissan in 2000. It controlled also twice in Germany in Formule VW and took part in a race of Formule 3 in Spain. It then controlled in World Series Light in 2003, with the Vergani team. Later in 2004 it runs in Formule 3000, buckling one whole season with TEAM CMS.

Lauda controlled in GP2 Series in 2005. It is one of the rare pilots who have the one complete season experience of F3000 behind them. Since September 2005, it controlled in A1 Grand Prix.

Without arriving to important results in all the disciplines of single-seater or it took part, it decided to turn its attention towards the private cars. In 2006, it takes part in the championship DTM with Mercedes where it does not mark any point. What it gene not to still run in DTM in 2007. During this season, it marks points, but not enough to rise in the top of the table (15th with 4 points).

In 2008, it will be engaged in the new championship Speedcar Series while raising the #21.
