Mathias Bernard

Mathias Bernard is a Historien French.

Research

Former student of the National university, it supports his thesis of doctorate of history on the moderate Lyoneses and the republican Federation of the Rhone, 1889-1940 in 1995 and his thesis of accreditation to supervise research under the direction of Jean-Marie Mayeur on Libéraux and “nationals” of the Affaire Dreyfus at our days in 2003. He is today professor of modern history to the university Blaise Pascal Clermont II and Doyen of the UFR of the Letters, Langues and Social sciences.

Its work concerns the political and cultural history of the 20th century.
