Matford Alsace V8

Asace V8 is the first model suitable for Matford left in September 1935 with the platform, the engine - V8 3,6l of 21 CV tax - and the body, modified in its back part, of the Ford V8-48.

In October 1935 during the appearance of a model 13 CV, Alsace V8-62, with an almost identical but shorter body (the footing was reduced) and V8 whose cubic capacity was brought back to 2,2l for 13 CV tax, the 21 CV become Alsace V8-66.

These cars are tempting by their pleasant and modern line, but the features are very ordinary: rigid axles with before and with the back, brakes mechanical, side valve engine. In comparison, the Traction Before of Citroen proposes nose gear wheels independent, of the hydraulic brakes and a valve engine at the head.
