Materials left hand
The materials left hand are artificial Matériaux which have electromagnetic properties not existing in nature (reference to the Règle of the left hand in electromagnetism). They are called also materials with negative index of refraction . In fact the materials left hand belong to a broader class called Métamatériaux.
The term “materials left hand” was invented by the Russian theorist V.G. Veselago in 1968.
