- Revolt of the Almohades: Ibn Tumart, prophet Berber of the Anti-Atlas, with the return of a voyage in the East, proclaims Imam and Mahdi and preaches the Djihad against the Almoravides in the Maghreb Al `Aqsa (Morocco). Thanks to the support of the Berber maçmouna, it makes build a mosque with Tinmel which becomes its capital (1125). Ibn Tumar manages to put the topics of the unicity of God (almohadism) and his immateriality at the service of a new conquering breath.
- December 11th: The vizier Al-Aldal Chahinchah is assassinated in the streets of the Cairo on the order of the caliph Fatimide Al-Amir

- Theologia summi profit , treated on the Trinity, first book published by Abélard. The design of the Trinity taught by Pierre Abélard is condemned to the flames by the Concile of Soissons. Constrained by criticism to leave Saint-Denis-in-France, Abélard founds the vault and the oratory of the Paraclet close to Nogent-sur-Seine.
