Mataró
Mataró is a city located in the North-East of the Spain, in Catalogne, chief town of the Comarque of the Maresme, located beside the sea (costa faced) and of the mountains of the chain Serralada Littoral.
The origins of the town of Mataró go up at the time Roman, under the name of Iluro . The invaluable heritage of this time appears by the Roman Villa Torre Llauder, of the end of century I front J.C.

In July, the city knows one period of festival, Health . There are many free concerts, and the activities for the family and the children. " are made; cercavila" with the gegants , of the large papier-m4ach3e figures which represent important people in the past of the city. These gegants is called Robafaves , Tonet , Geganta and Gegantona . With the music that the groups play, these giants dance (they are carried by men) in the streets of the city. In the cercavila there are also the Momerotes , of the figures of cows which have fire with the horns and the Diablesses , people with a clothing of devil who make fire while rolling. During the Health , one makes the Correfoc , a night route in the streets with fire which leaves the walls and the trees. After, it there with the Ruixada , where one refreshes oneself with water by listening to music with the Central Parc . People generally do not hesitate to wet themselves there in middle of the night for the occasion.
