Matane (city)
Matane is a city in the regional Municipalité of county of Matane to the Quebec, located in the administrative area of the Low-Saint-Laurent. The Rivière Matane has its mouth there on the Fleuve the St. Lawrence.
Education
The Cégep de Matane, smallest in Quebec, is recognized for its programmes of studies in photography and tourism. It performe also very well in Science of Nature. The establishment was also pointed out by its partnerships with Ubisoft like by its single programs of continuing education, Groupe Collégia.
Recently, the cégep accommodates many international students, coming amongst other things from the Réunion, France and the Morocco. Close 20% of the troop of Cégep de Matane comes from the outside of Quebec.
