Masueco

Masueco of Ribera is a commune located at the North-West of the Province of Salamanque in Spain 97 kilometers from Salamanque. This commune is located in the zone of the Natural park of Mow Arribes del Duero, close to the border with the Portugal separated by the river Duero. It is located at an altitude of 684 m to the top of the sea level.

This traditional village contains roughly of 460 inhabitants who live agriculture and breeding. The biome is subtropical.

The Uces river forms there the spectacular cascade of more than 50 m called the well of smoke ( Pozo of los Humos ).
