Masks of clown

Masques of clown is a science-fiction novel, written by Joel Houssin and published in 1982, with the editions black Fleuve, in the collection “Anticipation”.

Summary

The colonists left to extract from the ore on another planets are reached of an unknown evil which makes them regress mentally towards a vegetative state. They then are sent and given up on the Clown planet, to finish their existence there. The discovery, close to a military base, about a colonist inexplicably returned on Earth after its stay on this planet to mouroir, worries the authorities which dispatch a group of specialists to elucidate this mystery. The latter will be found vis-a-vis a threat which could put in danger very whole humanity well.
