Mask laryngé
The mask laryngé , developped at the point by Brain in the years 1990, is a material used in medicine of Urgence allowing the control of the air routes, located between the facial mask with nozzle and the Intubation trachéale. Of fast training, it represents an alternative to intubation when that Ci is impossible. It does not represent that a solution of waiting, because if it makes it possible to ensure the passage of the air in the air routes, it does not prevent the contents of the stomach from passing in the lungs and thus does not protect from the risk from regurgitation.
The laryngé mask consists of two parts, a mask itself, connected to a tube provided with a inflatable small baloon which positions in the pharynx and ensures the sealing of the periglottic area.
Fastrach® is a kind of mask laryngé " armé" , allowing to ventilate without intubation or of intuber to the blind man with a probe armed through the mask.
