Mascara (Algeria)

Mascara or Mouaskar (in Arabic معسكر) is a city of the West of the Algérie, chief town of the Wilaya of the same name.

It was burned and partially destroyed by the marshal Clauzel in 1835. August 18th 1994, a Earthquake - to 5,6 on the scale of Richter - killed 171 people.
