Mary Cheney

Mary Cheney , born the March 14th 1969, is the girl junior by Dick Cheney, Vice-président of the United States of America of George W. Bush between 2001 and 2009. She took an active share within the Republican party in the countryside for the re-election of George W. Bush and her father in 2004.

She was opposed to the constitutional amendment of prohibition of the Homosexual marriage which amounted for her “registering the principle of discrimination in the Constitution” (declaration on Fox TV, May 2006) although the Republican party made this amendment, one of the elements of its electoral platform. She admitted having been “very close” leaving her station within the committee of countryside of George W. Bush. But she also condemned the public statements at the time of their democratic adversaries, John Kerry and John Edwards, which had given a report on its homosexuality at the time of televised political debates.

In 2006, Mary Cheney publishes In my turn , delivers in which she asserts her homosexuality openly and asserts her membership of the Republican party at the same time as her admiration for her father. She announces that she lives in couple since 15 years with Heather Poe. At the end of this same year, she announced being enclosure, causing an outcry on behalf of certain Républicains policies.

The May 23rd 2007, it gives rise to his/her son: Samuel David Cheney.
