Marvin Harris (August 18th 1927 with Brooklyn - October 25th 2001 with Gainesville) is a American Anthropologue famous for its work on the cultural Matérialisme (farming materialism). Its ethnological studies on the populations of Bahia Amazonia and other areas of the Brazil as of the Mozambique related to the concept of Culture.
According to him, the practice of the cannibalism at the Aztec ones is an answer to animal protein poverty of their food mode.
