Martine Monteil

Martine Monteil, born Feugas on January 15th, 1950 with Vincennes, is a senior official French, central director of the judicial police since October 27th, 2004.

After a license in right, it becomes graduate Institute of criminology and 3Ecole Nationale Sup3erieure of the police force. At his exit in 1978, major of its promotion, it is the first woman with becoming police superintendent.

She becomes police chief in 1986, then police chief in 1991. In 1989, it is named with the head of the repression brigade of the procuring of Paris.

In 1994, it becomes chief of the Repression brigade of the banditism of Paris, then in 1996 chief of the Murder squad, first woman to occupy these two stations. In July 2002, it is named regional director of the judicial police of the Police headquarter, before becoming central director of the judicial police on October 27th, 2004. There still, it is the first woman to occupy this function, which places it n°2 of the French police institution, behind the managing director of the national police force.

It created, during the countryside of the presidential election of 2007, the polemic while wishing, “with personal capacity” with its minister Nicolas Sarkozy “of being able to make as much for the country that for the PJ”, and that the “courage and the energy” of Nicolas Sarkozy are tomorrow “with the service of France”.

It is the auteure of 100 years of judicial police , at Michel Lafon (2007).
