Martin Deschamps

Martin Deschamps is a singer (ACI) Rock Québécois born the June 23rd, 1970 with Montreal. He moves in the area of Lanaudière a few years later.

Biography

He receives his first battery at the 11 years age. In spite of an important handicap which leaves him only two fingers and an half-arm, it succeeds in with perseverance developing its musical talent and even starts to be initiated with low. Until 1996, Martin Deschamps belongs to the group Feel Alive . There remains however ignored general public until he takes down in 1996 the title of better singer to the Empire of the Stars. Its performance enables him to be pointed out by the group Offenbach which chooses it to take the vocal changing of Gerry Boulet. A series of 50 spectacles with the formation is followed from there.

It records its first album solo “ As I Am ” in 2000. With successes of individual the As I Am , My Blonde Is So much… , My Dog Died and Casanova , Martin Deschamps is quickly propelled at the top of the prize lists. Its album is sold besides with 75.000 specimens.

In 2001, it launches its second album “ Différent ” recorded in front of public. It takes again there some successes of the first album and performe some new songs like " Quand" and " Destinée". One also finds there some Reprises again of known successes such “ It is My Life ”, “ My blues pass been able in door ”, “ Up Where We Belong ” and “ Back in Black ”. More than 20.000 copies are past.

In 2002, it takes part in the recording of the sound screen of film “the Odyssey of Alice Tremblay” on whom it performe two songs. It presents several hundreds of spectacles in its round of Quebec and even some in France where it was appreciated by the critic and the public.

Of return to Quebec in 2003, it prepares its third album “ the known Desert ” mainly for success Vérité .

The year 2005 is marked by the launching of the album “ Nature ” on which one re-records a dozen old successes of the group Offenbach. He interprets also this same year the song topic of the film Servant boys IV.

In 2006, it launches its fourth album solo “ Intense ” on which figure the songs Respire and Envoler . One can also find on this album a resumption of the ballade When the Men Live of Love of Raymond Lévesque. This same year was remembered by its participation in the album “ Live at the Center Bell ” of the group Sizeable the. It finally takes part in the album “ Chansons in Gogo ” in 2007 by interpreting old success Before Telling me to Good-bye group Classels.

A new album will undoubtedly be launched after 2008, that is to say the end of the Québécois round of the album “ Intense ”.
