Martin Broszat

Martin Broszat , born on August 14th, 1926 with Leipzig, dead on October 14th, 1989, is a Historien of the West Germany, specialist in the Nazisme.

Broszat studied the history with the Université of Leipzig (1944-1949) and with the Université of Cologne (1949-1952). He worked as professor at the university of Cologne (1954-1955), at the Institute of modern history of Munich (1955-1989) and was professor emeritus at the University of Constance (1969-1980). He was with the head of the Institute of modern history of Munich between 1972 and 1989.
