Martin Škoula

Martin Škoula (born the October 28th 1979 with Litoměřice in Czechoslovakia today town of Czech Republic) is a professional player of Hockey.

Career in club

It begins its career in the junior team from HC Litvínov in 1995. During this season, he plays for the junior team of less than 18 years but also for less than 20 years and even a match of the {{Lang|in|'' play-off ''}} for the senior team which evolves/moves in the Czech Extraliga .

Two seasons later, it leaves its country to join the North America and equips it with the Ontario Hockey League , the Colts of Barrie. After one season, it is selected at the time of the fishing out of entry in the National league of hockey during the first round by the Avalanche of Colorado (17th) selected player. At the time of its second season with the Colts, it obtains a differential of +58, a record this season for the OHL but also a record for the Colts. It is then selected in the second standard team of the league. At end of this season, he also plays a match in the series 1999 of the Bears de Hershey, team of the American Ligue of hockey affiliated with the Avalanche.

He begins the following season directly in the LNH with the Avalanche and in 2001, he gains the Coupe Stanley.

In February 2004, it joined off the Mighty Ducks Anaheim against Kurt Sauer but plays only one score of matches there before becoming free agent. During the cancelled season of 2004-05 of the LNH, it turns over to play in its country for HC Chemopetrol Litvínov.

On its return the following season in the LNH, it signs for the Stars of Dallas which it leaves the last possible day of the exchanges. It joined the Wild of Minnesota in company of Shawn Belle against a choice of fishing out of 2007 and Willie Mitchell.
