Martial Caillebotte
Martial Caillebotte (1853-1910), Type-setter and Pianist French of the end of the 19th century, precursor of the impressionist Music.
Brother of Gustave Caillebotte, celebrates impressionist painter, Martial Caillebotte studied the piano and the composition with the Conservatoire of Paris and was the pupil of Antoine François Marmontel for the Piano and of Theodore Dubois for the Harmonie. He composed of many parts for piano and some works for Orchestre. The majority of its works remained new and with the state of manuscript. Since nearly one century, its musical productions remained unexplored. Type-setter of importance or Musician dilettante, the position of Martial Caillebotte, very largely eclipsed by crushing the power of his elder Gustave with which it divided almost all, remains today to be considered.
