Martial Beyrand
Martial Beyrand (1768-1796) is a general of the French revolution.
Born the September 9th 1768 with Limoges, it is wire of merchant.
Engaged like soldier in the royal army in 1783, it leaves the service in 1788. Returned with the service as captain with the 2nd Battalion of volunteers of High-Vienna in October 1791, it is used for the army of North, then becomes chief of staff of the future marshal Augereau with the army of the Eastern Pyrenees.
Promoted Brigadier general temporarily on November 24th, 1794, then confirmed on a purely final basis on November 4th, 1795, it passes to the army of Italy and is killed the August 3rd 1796 at the time of the Bataille of Castiglione.
