Marthe Mellot

Marthe Mellot is a Actrice French born with the Cosne-on-Loire (Nievre) in 1870 and deceased with Paris in 1947.

She had married the dramatic author Louis-Alfred Natanson, said Alfred Athis, founder of the white Review with his/her two brothers Alexandre and Thadée Natanson. It was the mother of the novelist Annette Vaillant.

With the theater, she interpreted inter alia Edmond Rostand, Bjornstjerne Bjornson, Jacques Deval, Armand Salacrou, Jean Anouilh, Federico Garcia Lorca… She also played in many fims: Both Orphan, the Poor wretches, the Cage with the nightingales, Mr Vincent
