Martín Antonio Delrío
Martín Antonio Delrío says also DelRio or Delrio born the May 17th 1551 with dead Antwerp the October 19th 1608 with Leuwen is a Jesuit scholar resulting from the Spanish nobility.
He fills initially of high public office, was senator with the council of the Brabant and vice-chancellor; but disgusted businesses by the civil wars, it was made Jesuit in Spain. He taught the holy letters with Salamanque, with Douai, Liege, Leuwen.
He gave notes estimated on Solin, Claudien and Sénèque the Tragedy, 1674, and left 6 books of Disquisitiones magics , 1599: this work was translated into French by André Duchesne, 1611.
He is the author of a work which will influence the judges in charge of of businesses of Sorcellerie until the French revolution, he is entitled magic Controverses and research . He asks there to show himself without pity towards those which are shown of sorcery, even the children, and warns the judges themselves, because any leniency of their share would be mortal Péché.
