Marquitta

Marquitta is a Silent film French carried out by Jean Renoir in 1926.

Summary

The singer of the streets, Marquitta, became the mistress of prince Viasco. This one passes on the vulgar side of his/her partner. On the other hand the flight of a jewel the met in fury and it drives out Marquitta. Time passes, Viasco, détroné dies of hunger in Paris under a disguise of Caucasien singer. Marquitta finds it, comforts it, returns the jewel to him, which starts a new anger. It is Marquitta which, this time, drives out it. But as she likes it, she saves it suicide and provides the proof that the robber is not other than his father. Marquitta is now a large high-speed motorboat which only thinks of being reconciled with Viasco.
