Andelot is a seigniory of the Revermont (currently, commune of Andelot-Morval, department of the the Jura)

The origins of this seigniory go back to the Principauté of Coligny, had by the Maison of Coligny, and which extended on the first buttresses from the Jura, as of the neighborhoods of the year Millet.

The seigniory of Andelot kept the sides Is Principauté of Coligny. It was had by the elder branch of the Seigneurs of Coligny until the XVIIe century.

Erection in marquisat

In 1617, the seigniory of Andelot was set up in marquisat with the profit of Charles de Coligny, by the archdukes Albert and Claire-Isabelle.
