Marnehuizen is a Village Dutch factitious and uninhabited, included in the military camp of Marnewaard, in Groningue. The village is used for military exercises.
The village consists of some streets with several houses, a section of Railroad with a station, a bank, a supermarket, warehouses and even a system of sewer S. the soldiers are trained there with the combat of city, nowadays more realistic than the exercises in open country.
Marnehuizen is visible since the road, and opened with the public the weekend, except so of the exercises or the operations take place the weekend. The buildings of the village remain closed with the public. In the center, the names of the streets were borrowed from the streets destroyed during the bombardment of Rotterdam at the beginning of the Second world war.
