Marlène Jobert

Marlène Jobert (born the November 4th 1940 with Algiers, in French Algeria then ) is a French actress.

Life and career

Like Edwige Feuillère and Claude Jade, Marlène Jobert makes studies with the Conservatoire of Dijon. She studies then the drama and art with the Conservatoire of Paris, earning her living like model for photographs and appearing in film productions. After some engagements with the theater - in particular Of the clowns per thousands, with Yves Montand - and on television, she is discovered in the years 1960 as actress of cinema.

Marlène Jobert is the mother of the actress Eva Green (born in 1980 and known to have played in Casino Royal ). It is also the aunt of the singer Elsa, girl of her sister Christiane Jobert.
