Mario Terán

Mario Terán is a Bolivian warrant officer , known to have carried out Ernesto Che Guevara on October 9th 1967, in the small school of Higuera.

Volunteer drawn with the fate for the execution from Che, Mario Terán acts under the orders of the CIA, via the general Barrientos.

In 1977 Paris Match diffuses the testimony of Mario Terán. Che Guevara would have said to him right before dying: Be serene and aim well! You will kill only one man! . The official version was during a few years that the sergeant Mario Terán committed suicide two years after, in 1969, without one being able to bind his suicide to dead of Che.

But actually he lived under another indentity. In 2007, irony of fate, it will be made operate cataract by cuban doctors.
